I really wanted to use up my basil which had flowered, and it wasn’t getting any sunlight anyway sitting in my kitchen. I figured I might as well eat it while it was still green.
Stirred together some eggs, sauteed some onions, green bell pepper and fresh spinach, added in some cooked pork, added the rice, added back the eggs, some chili powder, salt and pepper and a dash of hoisin. Finally added the basil.
And voila.. it was really yummy, I prolly ate more than half.
