this is my parents’ favorite restaurant in chicago. everytime we go to chinatown, we go to ken kee’s. we’ve gone elsewhere, but we always come back to ken kees.
it’s cheap, it’s good, not overly salty, portions are big, service is quick. what’s not to like?
location: chicago chinatown
fried fish fillet in japanese sweet sake sauce. really really yummy
beef with green peppers, gingers, and onion
beef was very tender
shrimp and egg sauce on rice. soo good. a big giant bowl with plenty of shrimp for only $5.95
love the rice soaked up in that shrimp and egg sauce
